There are 2 distinct requirements:

Before August 1^st 2022, the parts related to a fund’s sustainability goals and organization (“EET Light”)

It only necessitates pre-contractual disclosures from the fund’s manufacturer, depending on the SFDR article applicable (6, 8 or 9). It is a complement to the EMT report to match products with end clients’ ESG preferences

After January 1^st, 2023, the template will be able to convey the information of the pre-contractual and periodic disclosures in a more machine-readable format.

This version will also include the calculation of the Principal Adverse Impacts (PAI) and Taxonomy alignment of the funds, which may be required by investors to meet their own SFDR requirements.
